Lumisus is an aluminum beverage cup developed and commercialized using our unique technology to serve as a replacement for plastic cups. Aluminum is a circulating material that can help reduce environmental problems like marine pollution caused by plastic waste.
In terms of the environment, based on Toyo Seikan’s technology of aluminum beverage cans, called “aTULC (Aluminum Toyo Ultimate Can)”, we have achieved zero water consumption and minimized energy consumption during manufacturing. Regarding the usability of Lumisus, we have introduced several key features: (i) excellent mouthfeel and cut prevention through the optimization of the curl shape, (ii) easy separation from stacking, (iii)visible indication of the filling amount, (iv) enhanced grip performance, (v) ensured hygiene standards, and (vi) optimum loading efficiency through our unique molding technology.
