An aluminum beverage container with dramatically improved productivity and environmental friendliness that were achieved by a radical reexamination of raw materials and production processes. While conventional aluminum DWI cans need a lubricant (coolant) during the can forming process and a large amount of water to wash it off, aTULC does not require water consumption for washing since the polyester film thermo-compression bonded to the surface of the can body acts as a lubricant. The can also has a superior ability to preserve the quality of contents as it has extremely reduced the elution of organic components of lubricants and the adsorption of flavors.
