By revising the shape of the cap, we were able to reduce the amount of resin used while maintaining the same performance as the conventional cap. By adjusting the outer diameter and thickness of the cap, we achieved an approximately 39% reduction in the amount of resin to 1.35g in weight, compared to the conventional cap weighing 2.20 g.
To reduce the capping force, we thinned the base of the inner ring of the cap. We have placed narrow and wide scores*, taking into account both the ease of opening and capping.
