By revising the shape of the cap, we were able to reduce the amount of resin used while maintaining the same performance as the conventional product. By adjusting the outer diameter and thickness of the cap, we achieved an approximately 39% reduction in the amount of resin, with the conventional product weighing 2.20 g and this product weighing 1.35 g.
To reduce the closing force, we added grooves at the base of the cap with an inner ring. We have strategically placed narrow and wide scores*, taking into account both the ease of opening and sealing.
