Certification system for sustainable products and services
"Open Up! Products & Services"
Toyo Seikan Group has set "Developing and providing Products and services that support various lifestyles" and "Developing and providing Developing and offering products and services that are environmentally sound" as Toyo Seikan Group 's Materiality (Important Issues). Once a year, Group Sustainability Committee certifies products and services that address these materiality issues as "Open Up! Products & Services." The Group has set sales ratio as the KGI for materiality, and aims to increase the sales ratio of certified products and services to 30% by 2030.

This refers to products and services that make a significant contribution to people's comfortable lives and to their nutrition and health.
Consideration for physical, social and mental well-being, contribution to food safety and quality, solving food issues, contribution to medical care, infection prevention and public health, etc. - Developing and offering products and services that are environmentally sound
This refers to products and services that make a significant contribution to a carbon-free society, a resource-recycling society, and a society in harmony with nature.
Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, reduction of product LC-CO2, environmental contribution of products, reduction of resource usage, recycling of resources, switching to renewable resources, reduction of water and natural capital usage, reduction of impact on ecosystems, reduction of food waste and food loss, etc.
