Our company has been selected for the first time as an "Environmental Sustainable Company" in the Environmental Sustainable Company category of the 7th ESG Finance Awards Japan hosted by the Ministry of the Environment.
Based on our medium- to long-term environmental goals, the "Eco Action Plan 2030," our group is promoting initiatives to reduce environmental impact with the aim of realizing a decarbonized society, a circular economy society, and a society in harmony with nature. Regarding the selection as an "Environmental Sustainable Company," we believe this is the result of evaluating the richness of disclosure information through integrated reports and websites, and we will continue to strengthen our efforts toward realizing a sustainable society.
The ESG Finance Awards Japan is an awards system established by the Ministry of the Environment in 2019. It recognizes the pioneering efforts of institutional investors, financial institutions, intermediaries, companies, etc. that have actively engaged in ESG finance and environmental and social businesses and made an impact, and aims to promote and expand ESG finance by sharing these efforts widely with society.
This award recognizes companies that incorporate "significant environmental opportunities and risks" into their management strategies to improve their "corporate value," and that create positive impacts on the environment while also increasing their corporate value.
