Our company will hold the opening event of "Zero Waste Fest 2026" on Sunday, May 3, 2026 (a public holiday). This year, the fourth edition, offers content that allows participants to enjoy learning about waste reduction and circular economy through various content. We will hold a talk session themed around marine debris with Shuichi Takizawa, a comedian and garbage cleaner from the Machineguns, who is the leader of the online community "Takizawa Garbage Club," and guests. In addition, there will be an exhibition and hands-on experience of the "Skeleton Packer Truck," a garbage collection vehicle whose contents can be seen.

- Take photos with a "skeleton packer truck," a garbage truck where you can see the contents inside, and experience loading garbage.

Additionally, at the The Museum of Package Culture operated by our group on the first floor of the venue, a special exhibition titled "The Journey of Paper Cups Going Around Around" is being held (April 20, 2026 (Mon) ~ June 19, 2026 (Fri)). Along with Zero Waste Fest, this is an opportunity to learn about circular economy.

The Takizawa Garbage Club holds an event every year from May 3rd (Garbage Day) to May 30th (Zero Garbage Day) for about a month, with the aim of promoting waste reduction activities throughout Japan. Held since 2023 with the theme of "Reducing waste and strengthening bonds," this will be the fourth time the event is held. Our group has supported the purpose of this festival since its inception, and this year, on May 3rd, the first day of the event, we will co-host the "Zero Waste Fest 2026" opening event with the Takizawa Garbage Club at our company (Osaki Forest Building).
This is an online community dedicated to reducing waste, led by Hidekazu Takizawa of the comedy duo Machineguns, who is a comedian, active garbage collector, and waste expert who appears on television and radio and has been appointed as a sustainability ambassador, along with people who support his activities. Members come from all over Japan, and there are over 100 members including those overseas.
The general producer of Zero Waste Fest is Takizawa from the band Machineguns.
