Our company has signed a supporting partner agreement with the Japan Professional Football League (J.League) for the "J.League All-Star DAZN Cup." At the tournament, to be held at MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) on Saturday, June 13, 2026, our group will provide paper cups and other paper containers, and collect used containers. In addition, we will conduct a demonstration experiment for composting paper food containers made from biodegradable plastic * provided in the VIP lounge.
Through this initiative, we aim to raise visitors' awareness of the recycling of paper containers and contribute to the realization of a resource-recycling society.
*This plastic is made from plant-derived raw materials. It will decompose through microorganisms when placed in a suitable environment.
The J.League is the first in Asia to participate in the "Sport Positive Leagues (SPL)," an international initiative to address climate change, in order to protect the global environment so that children of the future can safely enjoy sports. The league is promoting a variety of initiatives to solve the problem of climate change.
Our company has long been promoting the creation of opportunities for consumers to participate in resource recycling in their daily lives. As part of this effort, we are working to improve the sorting and recycling awareness of visitors at stadiums and arenas, and to create resource recycling systems.
Through this partnership agreement, we will work to reduce combustible waste at the stadium and raise awareness of resource recycling.
Through this initiative, we will promote a "waste-free viewing style" together with our visitors and verify the creation of a system for collecting, washing, recycling, and composting paper containers. Our group will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through resource recycling initiatives at stadiums.
