We are pleased to announce that we have been selected for the first time as a constituent of the "SOMPO Sustainability Index" (hereinafter, "this Index"), which is established and managed by SOMPO Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tsutomu Yamaguchi; hereinafter, "SOMPO Asset Management").
This index is an active index uniquely created by SOMPO Asset Management, combining equity valuation with evaluation results from the "Environmental Management Survey" and "ESG Management Survey" conducted by SOMPO Risk Management Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahisa Nakamura). It consists of approximately 300 stocks with excellent ESG ratings and is adopted by pension funds and institutional investors that aim for long-term investment.
