Our consolidated subsidiary Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasumitsu Takebe; hereinafter referred to as "Toyo Seikan") will exhibit at the "12th International Drone Exhibition" (East Hall 3, 3-N10) during "Maintenance & Resilience TOKYO 2026," held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 17, 2026.
At this exhibition, we will showcase new products developed by Toyo Seikan: the remote drone spray can spray device "SABOT-3 Block 2" and the bear repellent spray can option "Masakari." Through live demonstrations and spray demonstrations, we propose new ways to utilize drones, such as infrastructure maintenance and bear damage countermeasures.
By mounting this product on a drone, it becomes possible to spray cans from the air. By simply changing the spray can according to the application, a wide range of tasks can be performed, such as repairing roof leaks with silicone paint, minor repair work with rust inhibitors and concrete surface impregnation materials, and bird damage control with repellents. Direct work from the drone eliminates the need for scaffolding and work at heights, contributing to improved safety and cost reduction.
The "SABOT-3 Block2" features significantly improved software compared to its predecessor, achieving multi-platform compatibility with the latest industrial drone, the "DJI Matrice 400," as well as older models like the "Matrice 300/350 RTK." Furthermore, it boasts improved camera performance and usability, making it an even more convenient product. Sales began in July 2026.
This is an optional accessory for SABOT that can be equipped with commercially available bear repellent spray cans. Leveraging SABOT's movable nozzle, spray accuracy, and camera-based target identification capabilities, it is envisioned for various uses, such as repelling bears that have entered a property and individual bear identification through color marking. This year, we will conduct field trials with local government officials and companies, particularly in areas with frequent bear sightings, to optimize operational methods and aim for early social implementation.
We will be exhibiting "NYOI," a multi-purpose telescopic device for drones, and "tNYOI," a multi-purpose telescopic device that enables handheld operation. "NYOI" is being developed as an attachment to meet diverse needs, enabling close-range spraying and direct painting with brushes and rollers, which were difficult with SABOT alone. "tNYOI" is being developed as a product that applies the convenience of lightweight design and electric telescopic operation to manual work as well.
