- Contributing to odor control in medical and nursing care settings through our proprietary deodorizer 'Deolica ®' -

Our company will launch the "Deolica Anshin Deodorizing Sheet," jointly developed with Nippon Zo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President & CEO: Takafumi Kosei), for the medical and nursing care fields, on August 5, 2026. Starting the same day, shipment of this product will begin from Nippon Zo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the distributor, to pharmaceutical wholesalers, and will be supplied to medical institutions and insurance pharmacies (dispensing pharmacies) through pharmaceutical wholesale.
This product is a roll-type deodorizing sheet classified as a hygiene goods and uses our proprietary high-performance deodorizer "Deolica®" (hereafter "Deolica ®"). By reducing various odors such as cancer autolysis ^*1 and pressure ulcers* ², as well as fecal odors, we aim to improve the environment in medical and nursing settings and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for users and those involved in nursing care.

^{*1 This refers to a wound that occurs when a tumor, such as breast cancer or head and neck cancer, progresses, causing it to break through the skin and become exposed, resulting in necrosis (spontaneous destruction) of the tumor tissue. It may be accompanied by pain, bleeding, and a foul odor.
*2 This refers to the condition where blood flow is restricted in areas of the skin due to prolonged periods of remaining in the same position, such as being bedridden, causing redness, sores, and wounds. It is also known as "bedsores."}

Through interviews and on-site surveys with medical institutions and nursing care facilities, we grasped the needs of those on the ground, and by making improvements based on that feedback, we have created a product that combines excellent deodorizing performance with high practicality.

"Deolica ®" is a new deodorant with porous silica as its main ingredient, which adsorbs and removes various odor components through chemical adsorption, offering excellent deodorizing performance and high safety. This product adopts the "Deolica ®" and in deodorizing tests ^*3, it confirmed a reduction in concentrations of odor components generated in medical and nursing care settings, such as disease odors, cancer autolysis wounds, pressure ulcer odors, and excrement odors.

^{*3 Measurements were conducted in accordance with the "Deodorizing Processed Textile Product Certification Standards (Instrumental Analysis Test Method)" by the Textile Evaluation Technology Council.}

Through our unique technology and manufacturing process, we have created a nonwoven fabric sheet that rapidly reduces various odors, and we have also enhanced convenience by using a packaging box with a structure that makes it easy to pull out the sheets.

"Deolica ®" is a technology that has been confirmed safe for humans and is also used for cosmetic applications. For this product as well, a human patch test ^*4 is conducted to check for skin reactions under specified test conditions.

^{*4 After 48 hours of occlusive patching on human skin, none of the 20 subjects showed any skin reactions.}

Together with Nihon Zoki Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., we are working to improve the convenience of the "Deolica Anshin Deodorizing Sheet," aiming to be a product that is easy to use even in home care, and promoting its adoption in medical and nursing care settings.
Additionally, our company is expanding the applications of the deodorant "Deolica ®" by promoting its use in the medical device category of the deodorant "Deolica ®" as a wound dressing material, and promoting its use in wallpaper, curtains, and linens for nursing care facilities, as well as aerosol and mist sprays. This helps reduce the burden on patients, their families, and medical and care workers, and contributes to the realization of comfortable and hygienic care and care environments.
