Our company will be exhibiting at "Ethical Expo 2026 OSAKA," Japan's largest ethical event, which will be held at Grand Front Osaka from October 17th (Sat) to 18th (Sun), 2026 (organized by ETHICAL EXPO JAPAN).
Following its Tokyo debut in February 2026, this exhibition's theme is "Food Loss and Disaster Preparedness from the Perspective of Containers." In collaboration with two student groups, "Mottainai-to" and "OLEA," the exhibition encourages visitors to think about "food loss" and "disaster preparedness" from the perspective of "packaging containers," which are familiar in everyday life. Through interactive content such as quizzes and awareness surveys, visitors can learn in a fun way, while also providing an opportunity to raise awareness of ethical practices and encourage behavioral change among a wide range of generations, especially young people who will lead the next generation.
Our group contributes to extending shelf life and reducing food waste by providing packaging containers such as cans and retort pouches that enhance the preservation of food. We are also working on developing products and services that contribute to disaster preparedness and response. This time, we will be implementing the following content in collaboration with two student organizations that are highly compatible with these themes.
In collaboration with "Mottainai-to," a student group at Osaka University working to reduce food waste and revitalize local communities, we will conduct a survey on awareness of food waste. By reflecting on our everyday choices and actions, we will be able to check our own awareness and behavior regarding food waste, and also be exposed to the diverse values of other attendees. We aim to provide an opportunity to view food waste as a more immediate issue and to think about what we can do in our daily lives.
"Rolling stock" is a method of stockpiling food by keeping a larger-than-usual amount on hand and replenishing what you consume. You can learn about this method through a quiz created in collaboration with "OLEA," a student group working to make disaster preparedness more accessible.
By combining the container technology that our group has cultivated with OLEA's disaster prevention awareness efforts, we aim to provide an opportunity to think about disaster prevention as an extension of everyday life.
Let's have fun thinking about "food waste" and "disaster preparedness," using "containers" that support food preservation and storage as a starting point. Please feel free to drop by. We look forward to your participation.
Ethical Expo is Japan's largest ethical festival, created jointly by young people and businesses. Led by students interested in environmental and social issues, it provides a platform for experiencing and sharing new values and lifestyles, in collaboration with stakeholders such as companies, local governments, and NPOs.
