Our company, in collaboration with the Japan Shogi Association and Agnavi Co., Ltd., will be implementing the second phase of the "IKKON IKKYOKU PROJECT," which aims to revitalize local communities through shogi and sake.
To coincide with the "ALSOK Cup 75th Osho Title Match, Game 5," to be held from March 8th (Sun) to 9th (Mon), 2026, three sake breweries in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture (Kikunosato Sake Brewery, Tenko Sake Brewery, and Watanabe Sake Brewery), the host city, have collaborated to create a 180ml can of sake with an original Osho Title Match label.
This product will be distributed by lottery to those who attend the pre-match celebration (Saturday, March 7th) for the same match. The label features a design of Nasu Yoichi Munetaka, a master archer said to have been born and raised in Otawara City, holding his bow while on horseback.
A master archer can hit the target with a single arrow, and a master shogi player can capture the entire board with a single move.
Through this project, we aim to showcase the profound appeal of both shogi (Japanese chess) and sake.
*Only available to those aged 20 or over (age verification will be required at the venue)
*Details about the gift contents (set/single item), quantity, and distribution method will be announced at the venue on the day.
*For more details on the "IKKON IKKYOKU PROJECT," please see the press release below.
