In collaboration with the Japan Shogi Association and Agnavi Inc., we are carrying out the second phase of the "Ikken Ichikyoku Project," which aims to revitalize local communities through shogi and sake.
To coincide with the 5th game of the ALSOK Cup 75th O-sho Championship, which will be held from Sunday, March 8th to Monday, March 9th, 2026, three sake breweries (Kikunosato Brewery, Tentaka Brewery, and Watanabe Brewery) in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture, where the tournament will be held, have collaborated to produce a 180ml can of sake with an original O-sho Championship label.
This product will be distributed by lottery to those who attend the pre-event party for the game (Saturday, March 7th). The label features a design of Nasu Yoichi Munetaka, a master archer who is said to have been born and raised in Otawara City, holding a bow on horseback.
A master archer can hit the target with one arrow, and a master shogi player can change the situation with one move.
Through this project, we will communicate the profound appeal of both shogi and sake.
*Only available to those aged 20 or over (age verification will be required at the venue)
*Details about the gift contents (set/single item), quantity, and distribution method will be announced at the venue on the day.
*For more details about the "Ikken Ikkyoku Project," please see the press release below.
