A key feature of this product is the separation film tab located at the opening of the paper cup, which makes it easy to peel off the inner film along with any attached dirt, thus encouraging users to participate in waste separation themselves.
Conventional paper cups and food cups are molded after a thin polyethylene film is laminated to the paper base to protect the inside. However, this product molds the paper base into a cup shape and then presses the polyethylene film onto the inside. This makes it difficult for liquids, oils, and other contents to penetrate the paper base, making it suitable for a variety of foods. Furthermore, by adjusting the lamination conditions, the film can be peeled off after the contents have been consumed.

Conventional food paper cups are difficult to recycle due to food residue and are mainly disposed of by incineration. This product allows for the removal of the inner film along with the residue, enabling the recovery of paper cups suitable for recycling as waste paper. This also contributes to horizontal recycling from paper cup to paper cup.
These containers are easy to recycle without the need for washing equipment and are being used at event venues and other locations to encourage new sorting practices. Their use in food courts and cafeterias is also anticipated.

The fact that users can experience reducing their environmental impact through the action of peeling off and separating the film themselves is commendable from an environmental education standpoint.
